    Revere Youth in Action

    Revere Youth in Action (RYiA)

$3,000 general operating grant for the BIPOC-led youth organization in Revere, whose work focuses on education and racial justice. Specifically, this funding will provide support for its ethnic studies program in which BIPOC youth will develop a model ethnic study curriculum based on the Khmer experience in Revere under the guidance of Dr. Asha Chana, a social justice educator at Revere High School.

    Revere Youth in Action

    Asian Women For Health (AWFH)

$3,500 grant to support AWFH’s Achieving Whole Health program, which aims to address mental and physical health and wellbeing of Asian women. This virtual program employs a peer-to-peer model to empower Asian women to develop whole health goals and enact behavior changes for healthier lives. Participants of the program will have the opportunity to apply and be trained as peer facilitators, in turn creating greater impact in the community. The program aims to shift attitudes about mental health, build participants' capacity for self care and self-efficacy, and prevent crisis situations by addressing physical and mental health concerns.

New England Bangladeshi American Foundation (NEBAF)
